Oh Jesus!

I am almost at the end of a book called 'The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ' (Levi).
Just to get things clear, I am a complete anti-religion kind of person. All my natural life I have avoided churches, christenings, Sunday School you name it. Deep down I have always felt that all current religions are manufactured teachings, scrutinized, chopped and shaped over time to scare people into being good.
So, this past year I have been on the old spiritual journey which has brought me to this book. It claims to be the original and true account of the life of Jesus. The Jesus who left his home as a teenager and traveled around India, Egypt, and Greece to name a few places to learn and teach about God.
For all I have learned in the way of the laws of the universe, metaphysics and the like, I find it completely compelling how in the book Jesus teaches that we are all made of atoms and molecules and that the thought is the most powerful form of energy. He explains at various points that God requires no churches in his honour and that priests should not wear attire in trying to appear more holy. He tells us that 'religion' is not an outward, physical practice and that only by looking within and living a pure life can you align yourself with a higher power.

As for the title of the book, it seems that when Jesus was around it was the age of Pisces. At the beginning of every new age the Christ will appear in physical form. The next age (which is apparently almost upon us) is the age of Aquarius. The next age from what I understand is the coming of heaven on earth. God only knows how he is planning that one, but surely it must involve the removal of Tony Blair and George Bush.

My First Experience with Lady Salvia

Ok, so I'm definately not a recreational drug user, I don't smoke and I hardly every drink (child permitting). However, already well into my (non-religious) spiritual journey I dedided to have a dabble with a legal, herbal drug. After much looking aroung on the web, I decided to go for something popular - Salvia Divinorum from www.deva-ethnobotanicals.com.

I had no preconceived ideas on this...
After setting the scene with some candles and music, I took the first hit. Immediately I felt the room begin to crystalise and although my visual perception was not affected much, I could instantly feel a presence in the room. The air turned to hard glass prisms, and I could feel a hard prickly effect all over my body. I felt myself being pulled out of my physical body from behind.
The room turned into somewhere where no space and time existed. I felt like I was home in this other world and I suddenly realised that I had always known about this other place - the real place. Someone was explaining to me that I had not had enough of the drug and that I was halfway over the border, strangely enough I could sense this. They explained that our world is not reality. As I came round after about 1 minute I was kneeling on the floor in complete ecstasy, laughing about the divine love I had felt and the knowledge I remember, my exact words were 'I understand everything!).

I am keen to try this again very soon...
